Headshot tips?

I’ve got to have a fucking headshot taken next week.

I am old, fat and very tired.

Any tips on how to arrange my face? Or make myself look better in general?

Watching with interest, because the last time I had a headshot taken the photographer physically recoiled when he saw the picture.

Try to lift your chin a little and touch the roof of your mouth with the back of your tongue to reduce any double chin.
Look away a second and then look back with a small smile if possible.
Try to smile with your eyes as well as raising the corners of your mouth a little.

It’s the smile that worries me the most actually!!!

You kind of have to elongate your neck, and push your forehead towards the camera. Feels odd, but works!
Practise in from of a mirror or take selfies.
