PS4 Pro or Nintendo Switch?

Got the opportunity to choose one of the above consoles at Easter time.

But not sure which to get.

I’m not a massive gamer, although I do have a PS3 which I play casual games on occasionally like Farming Simulator or Fifa (older titles), also use it to watch Blu-rays and DVDs.

I also have a Nintendo 3DS which I love and play regularly, absolutely love Pokemon and Mario games.

Also want to be able to let my DD who is almost 4 play games on it. She’s also not a huge gamer but has her own tablet that she likes to play simple games on. She might take the console to her dads with her depending on what we get.

Leaning more towards the Switch, but which would you recommend?

I think i would go for the switch. My youngest (3 year old twins) like playing on their cousin's one and they can use it pretty easily.

I think the Switch is much better for kids.

I don't know the PS4, but DS (7) has a switch with Mario, Captain Toad, Mario Kart, Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu, and (soon) Yoshi's Crafted World. All good games for younger ones too.
He's had a 2DS and Wii prior to this.

As someone with ALL THE CONSOLES, I'd say the Switch. It's a superb thing.

We have both and we all tend to use the switch more. You can also take it out with you which is a bonus!
It's much better for kids in terms of available games too. The only thing I would say is that the games are more expensive.

I bought a switch as I didn't want to encourage mindless gaming for hours. He had the vehicle labo for Xmas which has been great. Kept him quiet for days building it!

Yoshi's Crafted World is out tomorrow, and I've got the Labo VR on preorder too :)

Don't get me wrong, the PS4 is excellent too, but the Switch is where it's at. The xbone hardly ever gets powered on.

Just googled this game and it looks really good for when she's slightly older, there's also a Robot one.
