Peppa pig

So I may be missing something but why is George called George? Every other character has the same letter 1st name with there "last name" ect peppa pig, Danny dog, susie sheep even the imagery friend has one Leo lion.
I'm fully aware I need a life but DS is going through a peppa phase 😂

This has bugged me for ages! Hope someone knows!

Oh baby Alexander doesn't have a double letter either

Quite a few of them don't, but mostly I guess its because their name is really a family title - Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig, Uncle Pig, Aunty Pig, Miss Rabbit, Mummy Rabbit, etc.
Only George and Alexander are differnet. Even when there are other multiple siblings - Emily and Edward Elephant, and what are the Zebras? Zoe, Zaza, and something else?

There's also Joey Kangaroo (may have watched slightly too much Peppa...)
No idea either and has bugged me too.

Because Percy was taken?

George should surely be called Percy or Peter.....but other thoughts our family have had it:-

Why do Peppa & George only have one set of grandparents?

Why does the Rabbit do so many jobs?

Why do they have pets- why can't Goldy fish talk?

How many jobs does mrs rabbit have though?!

Chloe also doesn't have a double letter, although she is annoyingly referred to as "cousin Chloe".
There's also Joey Kangaroo but that's self-explanatory

The other Zebra is ZuZu.

There's that episode where Mrs Rabbit is having a baby and she asks some of the children what they should call it. They're all suggesting names beginning with R and then one of them suggests a name that's non-alliterative, everyone looks at them incredulously, makes me laugh every time

Yeah there are actually a few of the children who jave no alliterive names

I think theres another little brother as well that doesnt. That might be alexander i didnt think so but prehaps it is

Apparently there is an auntie dottie pig too

Auntie Dottie Pig — Auntie Dottie is Peppa and George's aunt who sent a toy horse, which Peppa and George call "Horsey Twinkle Toes". It is unknown what she looks like and does not have a voice actor since she is only mentioned and never seen or heard. It is unknown what side of the family she is on, since all that is said about her is that she lives far away in another country

As I recall only mammals can talk. The birds, fish, tortoise, upside down lizard etc don't talk and are pets or saved by the vet.

I remember watching the episode with baby Alexander with my baby called Alexander my baby Alexander is now 12!

No Miss Rabbit does all the jobs. She got an award for being the hardest worker in the country from the Queen... Who is human weirdly.
