Don't add it. They won't see it will they?

They will, it’s goong directly to them. Feel in a difficult position

Do you have HR? I would be tempted to do the feedback but explain to HR...otherwise do you know their boss? When I had appraisees I would have been very keen to know about this so I could deal with it sharpish!
