Chicken style

We had those in the bathroom of the house I grew up in. The ones where the 'chicken' was upside down used to really annoy me.

My Dad tiled our bathroom in those in the 70s. He didn’t realise there was a pattern so they were all completely random.

I keep trying, but nothing's happening......

We used to have the salmon pink colour in our kitchen.

We had paint to match too....

Wow, wow, wow! We had these in our house when I was 8! It was actually our granny's house which we moved into so quite some years old. I cannot imagine actually buying these, ergh!!

My mum still has these in pink in her original 60s bathroom. She says it’s retro and there’s no pint replacing it because it works and when she dies the people who buy her house will rip it all out anyway!

We had a random pattern too - upside down and sideways chickens 😂

If you look carefully, you could trace a kind of chick in the coloured parts.

Sometimes called 'Chicken in a Thunderstorm'.

We had these in the 90s in my bathroom in blue! Don’t think they are ready to come back yet though...

We had those. Saw a house on Rightmove that still had them. Was tempted to buy it on that basis.

EVERYBODY had those tiles in the 70s. I've half a mind to buy them.

We had the avocado on white version in our first house, along with an absolutely bombproof cast iron avocado tub and suite. We only updated the bathroom (white suite) to sell. I still feel the avocado tub was better.

Is there a household that didn't have them in the 70s and 80s ?

These still adorn my mother’s bathroom, but even now I can’t see the chicken.
