Where Are The Caramel Eggs??!

DoneLikeAKipper · 27/03/2019 18:54

Where are they? I have given up on most chocolate, it all taste like shite, but I still enjoy a Cadbury caramel egg when they come about. However, they seem to have completely disappeared where I am, can’t even find them online. I think it’s some sort of conspiracy, something involving getting more sales for shitty Creme Eggs Angry.

Note to add: if anyone in the Midlands sees a woman throwing a full toddler floor-strop in a supermarket whilst yelling ‘I want my caramel eggs!’, you’ll know it’s me Wink.

... hopefully they're in the bin. They are disgusting.

Poundland are selling them in packs of three - I got a box today. They’re definitely harder to find this year though. None in my local Asda or Morrison’s.

iklboo · 27/03/2019 18:58

Iceland have them in.

littlecabbage · 27/03/2019 18:59

There are some at Gloucester services.

TheInvestigator · 27/03/2019 19:01

I could only find them in the 12 pack (6 cream eggs with 6 caramel eggs in one box) in Tesco the shelf was completely empty quite quickly and hasnt been restocked.

Betsy86 · 27/03/2019 19:04

Tescos are probably low on stock because they had the 2 boxes for £2 deal last week..... £2 for 10 eggs i have a stash your welcome to indulge with me if your nearby op lol.
Failing that yes poundshop have them Grin

I’ll try Iceland, our Poundland definitely doesn’t have any. I looked in great detail yesterday, much to the joy of my irate toddler.

hopefully they're in the bin. They are disgusting.

I wish they’d throw creme eggs in with them then, just to be fair Grin.

I managed to get some in our small Asda I may of had a similar hissy fit at their exclusiveness.

If you can find a Rolo egg though, you'd be in heaven

LuckyAmy1986 · 27/03/2019 19:16

They are in my nearest Sainsbury’s store

Kpo58 · 27/03/2019 19:32

I miss mini Cadbury caramel eggs. Sad

sm40 · 27/03/2019 19:32

There are in Lidl's south east London....

DoneLikeAKipper · 27/03/2019 19:35

I wish I could get to some of these places, obviously the further south you go the more you’re all hogging them Grin.

If you are really desperate I can get some and stick them in the post to you?!

TheChippendenSpook · 27/03/2019 19:44

I'm no helpbut every year I miss the rolo eggs that they used to do, years ago!

heavenlypink · 27/03/2019 19:48

It's the Galaxy ones that I can't find - have seen the packet of small ones but not the small sized ones

DoneLikeAKipper · 27/03/2019 19:52

@LuckyAmy1986, that’s very kind but I’m totally being lighthearted! I was wondering if anyone else was noticing this, or had I just eaten all the available ones in my area.

MNHQ don’t need to put a begging warning on this Grin

That made me laugh! No worries, I just know how much I love chocolate and it’s horrible when you can’t find what you want. Next time I eat one I’ll think of you Grin

Nononononono33 · 27/03/2019 20:18

@heavenlypink yes the little Galaxy eggs are the ones I want. I bought the other (non filled) small Galaxy eggs at the weekend thinking they were the ones but they weren’t - so disappointing! And really not very nice.

HelenaDove · 27/03/2019 20:44

Easter eggs and Lindt bunnies are so bloody expensive now. £6 for Roses egg (DM always used to buy me one back in the 80s) and £5 for a Lindt bunny. I dont have DC It must cost parents a bloody fortune especially if they have more than one DC.

Redcrayons · 27/03/2019 21:02

They had them at the till at my local BP garage today. 2 for £1 as well.

SuperLoudPoppingAction · 27/03/2019 21:03

Home bargains have them

juneybean · 27/03/2019 21:03

I'm afraid I've eaten them all.
