Stanley. They make those stainless steel thermos flasks among other things. Had mine at least twelve years, used it recently and realised it wasn’t keeping the tea hot any longer.
Got in touch with customer service last week, posted my faulty flask off to them last Tuesday. Yesterday received a brand new replacement in the post.

timeforachangeithink · 27/03/2019 18:58

Joie are absolutely fantastic.

ATrainSeat · 27/03/2019 18:59

First Direct bank are honestly outstanding.

Twice I've had car seat issues. Once a comparability problem, they swapped my seat for a more expensive one at no cost to me. The second was my fault and they sent me a new shell for my seat free of charge

LuxuryWoman2018 · 27/03/2019 19:02

I agree with Tesco customer service , Tesco mobile too are excellent.
Boots (instore) were excellent recently.

qwertyskirty · 27/03/2019 19:08

My local independent theatre/cinema. They're not a chain but they advise on the best seats, book loads of quirky shows, and are always super friendly. I feel like I'm practically best pals with the staff there even though I suppose they're paid to be nice to me but they ALWAYS go above and beyond to accomodate my Great Uncle in his wheelchair too. Look after your local theatres I say!

WifOfBif · 27/03/2019 19:09

Fitbit!
Amazon have been excellent too if ever I’ve had a problem with an item.

I bought a Gnaw gumshield in the wrong size. Totally my own fault for failing to measure DS Blush I emailed them to ask if they'd consider an exchange and they said no, due to the nature of the item. Fair enough.
However, they also immediately sent me a refund and invited me to order the correct size and pass the gumshield on to someone who could use it, which I did.

Really great service and it's a great gumshield too!

Another vote for First Direct bank. Also always found Aviva to be pretty good

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 27/03/2019 19:16

Oh yes forgot about Amazon! I got a few skincare items delivered to the wrong address recently, they resent them out straight away.

Nespresso and Bose have always been fabulous for me. I have products from both that have needed parts replacing or upgrading and they've done it quickly and for free. I've also found their websites and delivery speed very impressive.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 27/03/2019 19:18

John Lewis
Zurich home insurance - dealt swiftly with two leak claims I had, each totalling over 15k

nikkylou · 27/03/2019 19:19

I've found Amazon hit and miss. When they're good they're great but when they're bad, you feel you've really hit the worst....

O2 and Plusnet have been really good though for us.

ivykaty44 · 27/03/2019 19:24

I’ve not found customer service at JL very helpful. Went to buy white goods and told it was a Tuesday delivery and all day that was it- they never turned up between 8am -6pm they eventually delivered the next day without even so much as an apology

fussychica · 27/03/2019 19:25

On a day to day basis Waitrose cant be beaten IMO. John Lewis aren't as good but usually come through if you are firm and prepared to hang in there to get the required outcome.

fussychica · 27/03/2019 19:27

ivykaty44 complain. Dont let them get away with it or they'll keep doing it.

Science9 · 27/03/2019 19:31

John Lewis

Next home - I had an awful experience with a faulty couch they sold me and despite the product being terrible, they were so helpful when I complained. I was refunded in full (had the couch for a year in total) and was also given 300 pound compensation for all the hassle. Every person I spoke to over the phone was lovely

WingBingo · 27/03/2019 19:35

A lot of those companies outsource their cs so it is good to hear they are still really good.

Tesco’s are surprisingly good for such a large company.

Staff in the store, not so much.

Meerkat78 · 27/03/2019 19:43

Wayfair - I bought a rug last year which was delivered a day later than expected. The customer service team were excellent - they gave me a 20% refund and another 20% off my next purchase.

I also just bought a trivet from Wayfair which arrived with a very small scratch. They have a short form on their website that you can fill in and either automatically get a refund or replacement - all you have to do is upload a photo of the damage, and it was pretty much instantaneous. Plus you don't even have to return the faulty item.

lastqueenofscotland · 27/03/2019 19:44

Manchester City’s have been fantastic for me as have the DVLA

ivykaty44 · 27/03/2019 19:46

I did let JL know I didn’t think it was a good service - seriously uninterested.

I have not purchased any further white goods or large items, I was at the time getting an iMac and instead dealt directly with Apple

avidreader4 · 27/03/2019 19:46

Dyson. They give a 5 year guarantee with their hoovers and whenever anything goes wrong with it, there's no hassle with them. They send an engineer to verify it's gone wrong and just send out the new part needed with no arguments! Dyson are expensive in their products but i always think it's worth it just for their customer service, as I know they'll keep it working!

SeventhWave · 27/03/2019 19:50

A family member lost ID in a shop at Copenhagen Airport (not their passport thankfully!!).

Two days - that's all it took for the Copenhagen Airport lost property people to find the address to return it to, and send it in the post back to the UK.

So my vote goes to the staff at Copenhagen Airport Smile

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 27/03/2019 19:52

@avidreader4 that's good to know
