Ancestry DNA Mix up...

I've ballsed up...bought my parents DNA kits for Xmas 18 and a birthday in Jan 18. Got round to doing both tests last month with them.

Can you guess what's coming...no idea whose test is whose as I made no note on the box or the booklet. Went back through my ancestry orders thinking something in the order would correspond to the numbers on the box or the test itself. Doesn't appear to be any relation.

Have emailed ancestry thinking if they can match the batch number to a date, then I'll know who did theirs first (dad) and second (mum). Alternatively will have to wait and see if they come back as female and male and know that way. Very worried I've wasted near £200 quid!

Any other suggestions???

Also, I doubt you're the first person, so I'm sure they'll have a way to sort it out for you.
