I’m just sick of people’s opinions and attitudes and selfish ways. All of them. Have no interest in anyone apart from the people who live within my 4 walls. Me, DH and DS. Can’t be fucked.

The world has turned into a place I don’t recognise or like. I blame social media completely. Turning everyone into lazy selfish opinionated pigs. And none of the opinions are nice, all negative.

I appreciate the irony of that as I type......

I live on my own with three wonderful, amazing, life enhancing dogs and we sit at home of an evening in complete bliss.

I've been feeling like this a lot lately. People are shit for the most part. I've been let down a few too many times now to feel any other way about it.

I have felt like this for quite a while. People will use you if you let them, and most these days seem to be completely self absorbed and inconsiderate. I opted out of 'life' as it was so unpleasant.

Me too. Society and attitudes towards other people is rapidly changing and it seems so many people are self absorbed, materialistic, over confident, obsessed with appearance and out for themselves and ego boosts at any cost.

I just stick to family members and a couple of friends, live quietly and mostly peacefully on my own. I don't let anyone too close now, keep them at arms length. I've learnt my lesson.

I agree. It's a shame but I've had to put my blinkers on as an act of self-preservation.

Agree with all of this, my social circle has shrunk a lot in the last few years...maybe it's because I'm getting old too...
