I need a new current account have been with my bank a long time but for personal reasons need to change. I'm going to open a HSBC account but a friend told me they are hard to get. That lots of people are refused. I worried now cos I had a poor credit rating approx 7 years ago. Does anyone know if this is true? Are HSBC accounts hard to get?
