Bit of an odd one

Not sure how to word this, my 2nd toe is swollen and painful underneath almost where the toe joins the foot, almost on the paddy bit, hurts to walk.
It started at work monday night, i thought my socks were crumpled up in my shoes, but they weren't. I am on my feet all the time at home, school run and at work as a hca.
It also feels different to the other toes, don't think its broke as i don't remember knocking it.
Any ideas.

CantYouSleepLittleBear · 26/03/2019 23:00

I've currently got similar! I got referred to a foot specialist, appointment is later this week. Will let you know my prognosis Grin

Can'tyousleep, that would be good to know, i don't think its gout as not normal pain for that.

I had that. It was quite painful, like a stabbing sensation. It went away on its own eventually.

Splinter that's invisible to the eye?

Metatarsalgia or Morton’s neuroma? With the latter if you squeeze your foot it would give you electric type pain.
