My 2yo coloured my NEW composite white door with dark blue permanent markers today. He also coloured the Bannister, wallpaper, mirrors, skirting and walls.
He did this is the few minutes I allowed myself to cry to the health visitor.
The last time she visited he ate washing powder and had to go to A&E.

I've tried to get it off all day and nothing seems to be working. Hopefully you fantastic people will have lots of tips and tricks!
I've written off the wallpaper because he's pulled most of it off. The woodwork I can sand and paint.
If I can only save my door then I will feel less hopeless and less like giving up and walking out on the lot of them.

Thank you.

I once removed paint from a windowsill with Reed diffuser oil. I wonder what's in it?

Kid has already tried licking the toothpaste off the door. He is unrepentant.

Keep him in the same room as you! He sounds like a danger to himself!

He's already eaten some raw turkey mince this morning. Even saying NO! STOP! does not stop him. I. Can't leave his side for a second.

Anyway in happier news, DH bought a chemical stripper solution home from work with him and it the pen came right off the door and paintwork. Wallpaper and walls still need to be sorted.

I think you need a cage playpen Shock
Glad you got some of the pen marks off.
My friend's DS once used permanent marker on her new cream leather sofa and scratched a drawing onto the side of her car when he was quite young. He grew up ok!

He's an absolute delight and perfectly adorable so I'm sure we will remain best friends. Although when he's grown up and has a home of his own i may biro on his walls.
