Vicks Humidifiers

Can anyone help? I use the vicks humidifier for my DS when he has a bad chest but recently it's been making his bedroom carpet wet. Any tips on stopping this? Thanks

I have the calpol plug in one as my vicks one did the same and I couldn’t work out how to get it to not!
