I've stained my new swimsuit with hair dye! How can I get it out.

Dyed my hair on sat. Washed it again Sunday. Went swimming last night in a cream swimsuit which is now a slightly mucky Brown/pink tinge round the top of the straps.

Ive machine washed it at 30degrees. I've also scrubbed it with soap and a nail brush in the sink.

Anything I can use? Would vanish work?

I think this might by curtains for it I’m afraid.

Wait for some sun and hang it in the sun all day. Soak in a mix of vinegar and Vanish for 24 hours. Then try a 60 degree wash. None of these things are good for it, it is all high risk, it might ruin it, it might do nothing or, it might save the day.

I would also study the hair dye instructions. Does it warn about this? If not email the manufacturer.

I guess it's my adult for not rinsing my hair well enough. Will try some vanish, etc. Thanks.

Leave it in the sun, that's the best thing I have found for getting stains out of white clothes!!
