Night out watching live reggae band, followed by lie in and a roast dinner.

AngeloMysterioso · 27/03/2019 13:55

DH and I are taking my DM, MIL and FIL out for a pub lunch where we’ll be telling them that I’m pregnant Grin should be a good day!

DD is at her Dad's during the day, coming home early to make dinner with DH. We did our annual country walk and tea last Sunday, my mum, DD and me.

My team are playing DH and the children's team at 4 😡 So im claiming Saturday for me! Ds2 is away with school so DH DS1 and DD are taking me to the pub for wine and tea 😆
Sunday we are having lunch with his parents, then him and DS1 and going to the match and im taking DD to cricket. Then i will drink lots of wine to drown my football sorrows (most likely)

We've deliberately not planned to do anything, because everywhere will probably be super busy! We might go out to a local garden or National Trust, but I bet we'll just end up staying at home, maybe in the garden if the weather is good!

troppibambini · 27/03/2019 20:23

Aah Angelo that sounds lovelySmile
I'm hoping for a lie in and I usually get breakfast in bed. (I don't eat breakfast but the coffee is good!)
Step daughter and her son are coming over in the morning then dh and our four dc are taking me and my mum out for Sunday lunch at a nice country pub.

I'll be cleaning and tidying the house as DH family is descending on us .

So as we haven't been able to book anywhere because we were only told this week that they were coming, we'll be doing food of some sort for 15!!
Joy joy joy Hmm

So yeah, my mother's Day will be spent doing that!

RomanyQueen1 · 27/03/2019 21:50

Invisible

They tell you they are coming, sod cleaning and hosting on mothers day the kids and dh would be doing it.

InvisibleToEveryone · 27/03/2019 22:40

Hmm, well DH will probably cook tbh, whilst I tidy, DD1 will be round at some point with GS , and the other two will be yelled at to help.

MIL only visits once or twice a year, so I put up and shut up!
