What's your favourite U.K county?

To live or holiday in. At the moment it's Devon for me although I have many counties still to visit so it may change. It's so beautiful, there's so much to do, I love the place names, the houses, the seafood and the independent shops.

What's your favourite county and why?

I'm going to say Bedfordshire because I don't want it to feel left out

I think we all knew what Willow meant.

It's interesting to hear everyone's choice. Yorkshire would probably be my second choice. I know that's cheating in a way but it's a wonderful place.

This thread is making me want to book a holiday to all of these locations.
