Do you see faces in things?

I do, all the time.

This is in the Aldi magazine.

It looks like a woman called Carol who I used to work with.

She wasn't a very nice person.

That lettuce can't imagine warming to Carol somehow

I do when I'm bored. Especially in trees.

When I was about 3 I told my dad I really liked the sort of car we had just walked past. He was surprised and sounded pleased when he said he didn’t know I liked cars, and what did I like about it? I told him that itsface was just like the local vicar.
The conversation progressed , and it turned out that lots of the cars faces reminded me of people, and our neighbours had a car with a face like their cat.
My oh and I were recently buying a car, he really wanted an Audi (q2 I think it was called) but o couldn’t get it because it’s grim looked really manic.
This is not something I usually talk about.

I thought car designers purposely designed the faces of cars? Presumably they try to make them appeal to their target market?

I have a very serious grimacing person on the highchair back.

Yes! All the time. In fact I got this from DH today who was out somewhere for work. He sent it because apparently its something I would send to him!

When younger I used to see faces in writing, but have hardly done so for probably over 20 years.

I came across this in Hockley Woods years ago. It's clearly a Tree person isn't it?

I can see a face in this unusual example of topiary. It’s in a NT garden in The Cotswolds if anyone’s interested

@tierraJ 'normal people' definitely see faces, and hear voices on the wind and lots of other things because the human brain likes to see/hear familiar patterns.

But yes, it's when it is damaging your life that I assume it becomes a disorder.

Oh and agree with car faces, I never thought that was unusual? My family always used to talk about nasty cars and smiley cars and dumb cars... will have to ask DP if he sees car faces..

Carol does not look like a nice person I can see a face in both of her cheeks as well.

I see faces in everything. I always thought it was normal.

Yes, all the time in clouds and trees. Today I saw what looked like a baby in utero in the clouds at sunset.

There’s an abandoned chicken shed near where I live that looks like a smiley face too. I see the face rather than the shed.

Yes, all the time. We had some lovely curtains in our bedroom but we had to change them because I kept seeing scary faces in the pattern.

The moon has a man wearing sunglasses.

the pattern in our living room wallpaper looks like either Beetlejuice or an evil Billy Connolly!

I see a llama, a pelican, a mummy and baby owl and a baby in my bathroom laminate wood effect floor. It kept me occupied when I had horrendous stomach flu the other week.
