Lidl’s vegetable box

I walked round to our local Lidl yesterday morning, I only wanted some carrots and onions. Got to the check out and they had boxes of mixed fruit and vegetables for £1.50 that were close to use by date so I grabbed one to try. In my box was 1lb of carrots, 3 aubergines, 1 large onion, 1lb of parsnips, 1 courgette and a pack of green beans. Then a bag of tangerines, a punnet of strawberries and a punnet of grapes.
All good and fresh.
I love a good bargain so I’m being nice and sharing.

That's fab! I'll have to pop to my Lidl and see if they do them too. Good value and nice to see food not going to waste!

Morrisons do similar and I think you can get them online

Yep, our local has them too but behind the tills just as you're walking out the door rather unhelpfully.
