To try pole fitness

I am trying to get fitter, one of my friends recommend trying pole fitness, my main worries are is is sleazy? I have no upper body strength and I don't have the body to pole dance as i had a baby 9 months ago! Has anyone done this and can give me confidence to try it?

Not at all sleazy. Hard work, sweaty, not graceful or glamorous Grin but great fun and a sense of achievement

@YesQueen thank you! I'm really interested in trying it, and getting fitter, as I know it's good for that!

I haven't tried it personally due to my lack of coordination but have mum friends who think it's amazing. They go to a mum and baby/toddler session where the kids are in the studio too

@BabyMoonPie that's interesting! Shame I don't have a baby and mum class here, that would be good! X

Do it do it! It's great fun and hard work!
I have done three courses and have only stopped because I'm pregnant and too knackered to do anything. I don't have any upper body strength and did find some of the lifting hard but that's a bit further down the line Smile
It's a great workout with lots of stretching and a fun way to exercise.

It’s crazy hard work and some of the most beautiful displays of strength and movement.

I know someone who’s wife does it. He’s shared pics and video. Sooooo strong and amazing. Just wow. Not in the slightest sleazy. Stunning and strong.
