Any coeliacs here?

Due a biopsy today after blood test came back positive. Does anyone know if I will get the results straight away? I know you have to wait for biopsy results but will the doctor be able to tell me if the gastroscopy looks like I have coeliac?

Dd was told the same day, but she was an inpatient and her consultant did it. Sometimes it's visually very obvious but iirc from what he said sometimes it's not so obvious and you need to wait for biopsy results.

It depends on how obvious the damage is and who is doing the biopsy.

I had to wait for a report which was sent to the GP who then asked me in for the results and relevant referrals.

I was told straight away as mine was quite obvious from the gastroscopy. The biopsy results came through a few weeks later confirming it.

So unless the damage is obvious I’m going to be in for quite a long wait for the results?
Jeez. I’m just getting impatient as this has been so drawn out... I had my positive blood results 7 months ago and I’m only now getting a biopsy.
Shall I just assume that if the doctor says no damage then I’m not coeliac and try to find another cause to my symptoms?
