Does anyone else own this bastarding transformer toy?!

My mother was kind enough to purchase this for DS(4) earlier this (yesterday!) afternoon. Robot action figure thing that turns into a car. Brill, can see the appeal. Except turning it from robot to car is a SEVENTEEN step process that requires the kind of brain that can solve a rubix cube combined with fingertips and nerves of steel. I have been trying to turn it into a car on and off since we got it home at 4pm. There were tears at bedtime because neither DH nor I had succeeded yet. And now I’ve finally done it and after a brief flush of pride I realised that when he wakes up the first thing he’s going to ask me to do is turn it back into a fucking robot. There is literally no point to this post but I have never ever felt such total hatred for an inanimate object before, and wondered if anyone else has got any other toy designers on their personal fantasy hit-list.

Lol...this brought back memories. If our experience is anything to go by, your son will soon be transforming it in seconds with his eyes shut whilst you as a parent are looking on in amazement. Have fun. 😂

Yes. What you said.
Fucking twatting toys that you need a masters in engineering before you can get them out of the packaging let alone figure out how they work so junior can play with them. When I rule the universe they will be banned And it will be life without parole for the twisted sadistic bastards who design them having never apparently met a child or a parent of same.

I tried and tried with that thing. In the end I gave it to my engineer husband to do. Having finally transformed it, my child with ASD burst into tears and asked us to turn it back. He did but has since lost a leg 🙈 not my favourite toy.
