Whatever they thought they could pull off, really. Something vegan from DD, something else from DS. With pasta.

Teriyaki salmon with noddles & spring vegetables

Roast dinner

missyB1 · 24/03/2019 19:27

God it’s highly unlikely to happen to me! He will expect himself and the dil to be invited to a meal at our house which we will have to cook for them Hmm
If they ever do invite me round for a meal I would be happy with anything! Actually coffee and cake would do.

Roast dinner with all the trimmings because of the number of them I've cooked
for them over the years!

ILoveMaxiBondi · 24/03/2019 19:29

Oh I’m really easily pleased. I’d be happy with a bacon sarnie or a toastier or something.

Dp and the kids are cooking a roast chicken for me, dm and dmil. Despite being veggie I love a roast dinner - yorkshires, a lot of different veggies and gravy. Yum yum.

My adult dd is making us all afternoon tea. Cakes /scones /posh sandwiches etc.
Chef ds is making a tea for when the younger dc have gone to bed as he is working all day.
Can't wait!!
Perks of having many many dc!!

AuntieStella · 24/03/2019 19:32

Something they can produce reliably.

Steak and chips and a nice bottle of something, probably.

CaptainSquirrel · 24/03/2019 19:34

Lamb roast dinner with all the trimmings so roasties, cauliflower cheese, yorkshires (yes you can have yorkshires with lamb), honey glazed parsnips and carrots plus mint sauce and gravy.

FortyFacedFuckers · 24/03/2019 19:36

I would absolutely love a roast but too be honest I am happy to eat anything that has been made for me!

Flowersintheatticconversion · 24/03/2019 19:37

I'm doing this for my DM (and DF) next week, my dad usually ibsists on cooking so it's nice to be allowed. I'm going to do a buffet; Roast chicken, salad, some mini roast potatoes, cheeseboard, a little chickpea curry, nice bread etc. And prosecco. And then I'll maybe do a trifle, or carrot cake, or Eton mess. I don't know but I'm excited!
