Another 'help me with my takeaway'

whiteteeth04 · 24/03/2019 14:51

I did my last 20 miles this morning before London marathon thinking about how I'm going to treat myself to a takeaway.

But in 3 hours of running I still couldn't come to a decision!

Which option please:

  1. Nando's takeaway (1/2 chicken, chips, coleslaw and halloumi)
  2. Thai takeaway (chicken pad Thai, spring rolls and crackers
  3. something from the Chinese (however there are no good Chinese takeaways near me and I always end up disappointed).

It may seem premature but got to go into town soon and going to pick this up on the way back Smile

Nando's all the way for me Smile and a kind of healthier option then the other 2

Thai definitely. Chinese not worth bothering with if you don't have a good one, and I can never see the attraction of nandos.

BricksInTheWall · 24/03/2019 15:09

Nandos is rubbish, always hungry again after an hour. Chinese would probably be my choice but if no decent ones nearby then it'll be disappointing. Thai sounds lovely too, now dreaming of turning off my oven and ordering a chicken gang pa curry, spring rolls and moo ping 😋

CakeNinja · 24/03/2019 17:12

I’d go for number 2 (with additions!) because I don’t like Nando’s and no Chinese is better than a bad Chinese.

WooWooCocktail · 24/03/2019 17:13

Nandos all the way

Sapphire387 · 24/03/2019 17:35

Thai!!!!

Expressedways · 24/03/2019 17:35

Iloveacurry · 24/03/2019 17:37

Thai from that list.

MelanieCheeks · 24/03/2019 17:38

Thai for sure! You don't want disappointing.

And good luck for the run

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 24/03/2019 17:40

3 hours running???

hugoagogo · 24/03/2019 17:42

Is Thai food nice? I am always worried it will be coconutty...

ArabellaDoreenFig · 24/03/2019 17:43

Nando’s!
Halloumi and chill jam to start, then chicken pitta with seasoned chips and sweet corn, and the peri peri mayonnaise!

theworldistoosmall · 24/03/2019 17:43

Thai because you haven't got a decent Chinese.

LoudestRoar · 24/03/2019 17:45

Thai! And well done, I completed VLM last year, it's an amazing experience x

itssquidstella · 24/03/2019 17:46

Thai!

CakeNinja · 24/03/2019 17:49

Hugo Thai food is divine! Not at all coconutty if you don’t choose something cooked in it! I’d say it was far more zingy and fresh, citrus and ginger, chillis. Lots of deliciousness but it totally depends on what you have. God I fancy a Thai now!

DaedricLordSlayer · 24/03/2019 17:52

Thai

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 24/03/2019 17:54

Thai

TheGirlWhoLived · 24/03/2019 17:54

Oh the Thai without a doubt. I’d go for a weeping tiger about now, with some sticky rice and hot and sour soup mmm

Mmmhmmokdear · 24/03/2019 17:58

Thai!!!
