Yesterday she said something would kill two stones with one bird. When I laughed, she corrected it to kill one bird with two stones :o

Ha! Well we all know, of course, that a stone in the hand is worth two in bush.

Does your DP (her son presumably) do the same thing, because they do say the apple doesn't fall off the old block.
