Cows milk out fridge question

My 12 month old has made the switch to cows milk. This morning he had a bottle which I'd left and not had time to wash up yet anyway. Put him in his highchair to make him a snack and before I had a chance he'd grabbed the milk and started drinking it. It's full fat cows milk and been out probably around 2 hours. He probably only drank a mouthful. I've smelt it and it smells fine although I do currently have sinusitis so my senses are impaired anyway. He's literally just getting over a stomach bug to make matters worse!! Should I be worried!? Thanks

2 hours should be fine. If it was really bad he wouldn't have drunk it and would spit it out.

Yes it will be fine. Probably tasted a bit horrid though.

Sorry to clarify I just meant slightly room warmed milk doesn't taste particularly nice, not in a 'it would have been off' way.

Aw thanks all. When I first gave it him I heated it slightly in the microwave. I would taste it myself but I actually hate the stuff!! I'm just thinking that milk delivered on a milk round isn't kept in a fridge, just on an open van and that's fine obviously few a few hours so I'm probably over reacting
