Diagonal line Clear Blue test

Hi

Has anyone had a diagnosis instead of vertical line on a Clear Blue year before and know whether this means positive or negative? It’s the early detection test and show be no line at all if negative or vertical if pregnant. I appear to have got a diagonal line instead 🤷‍♀️

Any advice much appreciated.

Sounds faulty. Do you have a pic?

If the instructions don't mention a diagonal line then the test you've got is faulty.

Blue dye tests are often unreliable. I recommend a pink dye, such as a FRER. Or a digital, although I think they are usually less sensitive.

I’ll try a pink dye test in a couple of days then and see what happens...

To me that would be a dye run...so I would disregard this test and try again tomorrow.

I'm conscious to know how you got on with the test result as I experienced similar with the Clearblue early detection test this morning (testing 5 days before period is due) and had very light spotting one week ago which I'm not sure about (implantation bleeding maybe). Any advice appreciated.

Hello! I actually just took a test and got a diagonal line in my test right away. I am only be 9 days DPO right now but the diagonal line was pretty clear but im not sure if I should just write it off as a faulty test but it just looked weird. I will still test again in about a week when i my period is schedlued.
