Caravan holidays with young kids?

This will be the first time going away with a 2 yo and 4 yo. Can anyone recommend any areas suitable for kids this age? Have been looking at haven but it's not so clear if the activities etc are aimed at kids of all ages. We are in the east of England and probably not looking at going more than a 3 hour drive away. Any recommendations greatly appreciated!

would something like romney sands caravan park in Kent suit you? there is a heated pool and kids playground, and its very near the beach x

East Yorkshire had some nice parks as does Durham area. I'd avoid haven unless you're prepared for a really noisy holiday with lots of party people. Caravan hols are great for kids 2 and 4 though. Hope you have a brilliant time!Grin

My kids loved exmouth at that age - long sandy beach, a few options site wise. We've stayed on the east coast too but it has a different feel, the beaches are more long walks with the dog, with the exception of Norfolk (wells next to the sea is our favourite). Kids are grown so not sure about specific toddler activities but term time it's mostly very young kids so I would be surprised if it wasn't geared to them

I prefer hoseaons to haven, smaller and quieter.

I'd look for somewhere on the North Norfolk coast. It's beautiful and no far from you if you're in the East.
