Celebrating 7th birthday weekend away before or after?

We are Looking to take DC away for 7th birthday on a weekend and trying to decide if it’s better to go on the weekend before or after?

What do you think?

We usually do parties etc just after birthday rather than before but I don’t think it really matters .

I would go in the weekend that suited us the best. It really doesn't matter.

Me and DD have our birthday the week before DS so it deends entirely on that!
Otherwise I don't see why it matters.
