Constant BT pop ups - happening to anyone else?

Sazquatch · 23/03/2019 09:08

Almost every time I click on threads this pop up happens and the back button won’t work. I have to shut the window and start again. It’s only happening on Mumsnet. Doing my head in!

Same here!!
Has anyone got a solution for getting rid of it?

Nubbled · 23/03/2019 09:14

Yes, it’s happening frequently.

TheSquiffyQuiff · 23/03/2019 09:20

Yup. Mine don’t look the same but it’s apparently something Mumsnet needs to solve from what I’ve read.

TheSquiffyQuiff · 23/03/2019 09:21

I’ll report

MakeLemonade · 23/03/2019 09:22

Sky ones here and driving me nuts. Thought I saw a thread about it yesterday? Can’t believe it’s not been fixed yet.

It was doing this all day yesterday and MN HQ said they were working on it. V annoyed to find it’s still happening, and even more frequently, this morning.

Myfanwyprice · 23/03/2019 09:23

Yep, same here, driving me nuts!

Cherryblossomandcornflakes · 23/03/2019 09:23

Yep. It’s something like one in three clicks for me this morning.

Yes. It’s doing my head in. BT for me

MyDcAreMarvel · 23/03/2019 09:31

Yes but Virgin!

FriedFoodFreud · 23/03/2019 09:31

Me too! BT ones here too.

Sazquatch · 23/03/2019 09:31

I’m glad it’s not a virus on my phone at least. Sounds like a big issue for Mumsnet to sort though, I’m guessing it won’t be an easy fix.

It’s driving me mad..... hope it’s fixed soon

Canyerjustfixthis · 23/03/2019 09:38

I was getting EE ones last night constantly and clear the cookies & cache each time it popped up they’ve now stopped and I haven’t had a single one so maybe it has been fixed but you need to clear yours? 🤷‍♀️

Unutterable · 23/03/2019 09:40

Yep Angry

HebeMumsnet · 23/03/2019 09:48

Morning, folks. We're so sorry about this. Tech are working on it now to try and find out where the problem lies. As soon as we've any news we will update here.

HebeMumsnet · 23/03/2019 10:51

And just a quick note to remind everyone to check when they're posting screenshots that they don't include personal info such as IP address. We've deleted a few on this thread just to be on the safe side.

HebeMumsnet · 26/03/2019 14:43

Afternoon, everyone. We're hopeful this issue is resolved now. There are a lot of these threads still floating around from the weekend so do pop over to this thread where AnyaMumsnet has posted with a bit more information. We're going to leave that thread running in case there are any more questions but close the others to new posts now just to keep everything in one place.

Thanks again for your patience while we sorted this out.
