I have recently been diagnosed with ADHD and am prescribed Concerta.
Wondering if anyone else here has the same diagnosis.
I was diagnosed privately as our area doesn’t refer for ADHD...you have to argue with the Ckinical Commissioning Group and at 53 I’ve not the energy or patience for that.
The consultant I saw did a Qb computer test which showed huge deficits in attention, movement and also in impulse control.
He took a detailed history as well before reviewing my computer results and coupled with those said that my history and the test showed that I met the criteria for ADHD.
I’ve just started the Concerta so will see if it helps but want to deplore other treatments such as CBT as well,
