My DH was off work for 12 weeks with valid sick notes. He gets full sick pay for up to 13 weeks.
During the time he was off the company shut down for Christmas. They get 5 days off which is paid.
Then after Christmas the company went onto short-time for 2 weeks. The staff were given one day off a week for the two weeks and paid for 50% of that day.
My husband has now gone back to work and got his pay slips.
His Christmas one he has been paid for the time the company was shut down. One of the workers has told him he is entitled to the 5 days holidays they were shut down to take at another time.
The time they were laid off he has only been paid the 50% for those 2 days.
The payroll lady isn't the friendliest so he wants to check if she is right before he rings her.
