Today I have become my Mother...

I received an email from Schuh with these beauties and exclaimed out loud 'How Much! How much!' there is now no hope for me.

I realised that I had become my mother when I told someone that I had a ‘boycot’ list of shops and services that I refused to use because they had offended me either personally or ideologically. Mum had a shit list too (and we used to be so embarrassed about it).

I became my own Mother looking at shoes thinking "Oh they look comfy"

I became my mother a couple of months ago when I heard myself say to DS, 'No, I am not paying extra for someone else to rip your jeans for you!'

I became my mother when I started enjoying a trip round DIY shops.

I saw a jumper , pale lemon and thought that's nice ..

When I put my knickers to dry on the radiator I know I have become my mother.

I told my dc that “our house is not a hotel you know” - yep my dm said that when I needed to tidy my room as a child!

My mum would have loved those slippers! I hope I do become my mum at some point, she always had so much more patience than I have.

When I go through the house turning the lights off and saying we don't need all these Blackpool illuminations on.

And yes, "how much? Waste of money"
