While that all sounds dangerous it's got to be progress, right?

No mention of it on bbc. Do wonder where they got it from

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 22/03/2019 18:53

Sorry heart not absolute

OP posts:

If that did happen any views on how much support it would get?

An amendment for a series of indicative votes was put forward by Labour before but the Tories voted against it. Now they're trying to claim it as their idea! They're also considering putting forward the WA plus a permanent customs union as an option, another Labour idea.

No idea how much support each option could get. Even if you asked MPs their view today, it could change again by Monday. Who knows!

Palominoo · 22/03/2019 19:04

It won't happen. We, the majority voted and we wanted out. A second referendum will not happen.

We want Brexit and we want it now!

Bearfrills · 22/03/2019 19:08

We, the majority voted and we wanted out. A second referendum will not happen. We want Brexit and we want it now!

Someone had a big bowl of soundbites for dinner.

StealthPolarBear · 22/03/2019 21:21

I read it as the decision on what they're voting on on Monday with the actual vote later in the week

*It won't happen. We, the majority voted and we wanted out. A second referendum will not happen.

The stupidity is blinding here. Even if you voted for it three years ago, surely you didn’t vote for utter fucking chaos, food shortages, medicine shortages and economic suicide?

OneInAMillionYou · 22/03/2019 21:25

Many, many official polls have shown that a significant section of the electorate have changed their minds, not least due to the illegality of the Vote Leave campaign.

That needs to be tested and debated.

Anyone voting for a hard Brexit must be so wealthy to be sheltered from the impact, or so stupid they don't realise the impact.

CoconutSpongeCake · 22/03/2019 21:28

Apparently the SNP are declaring a second indyref in the next two weeks too. We're all going to hell in a handcart.

MillyCoddler · 22/03/2019 21:33

I don't know why we don't just stay in the EU.
We need to be in the Customs Union to safeguard the GFA (I think)
We can't make trade deals with other countries if we're in the Customs Union (I think)
Therefore we should remain and be rule makers rather than rule takers.
I honestly don't know what we're hoping to gain . Certainly not £350k a week because we'll have to pay a similar amount if we want a Norway deal (I think)

MillyCoddler · 22/03/2019 21:34

Coconut- the SNP can't do that.

StealthPolarBear · 22/03/2019 21:34

We're delivering the will of the people. All three hundred and sixty four of them

'It won't happen. We, the majority voted and we wanted out. A second referendum will not happen.

You forgot 'Brexit means Brexit.' A disappointing error.

stillpinching · 22/03/2019 21:58

'It won't happen. We, the majority voted and we wanted out. A second referendum will not happen. We want Brexit and we want it now'

So you're admitting that a second ref would mean the end of Brexit? In other words it's no longer the 'will of the poeple'? Interesting...

ShitAtScarbble · 22/03/2019 22:02

It won't happen. We, the majority voted and we wanted out. A second referendum will not happen

Arrrrghhhh! The stupid! It burns!

ShitAtScarbble · 22/03/2019 22:04

Also Grin Grin Grin @ "We the majority"

This is what we're up against - no thought, no vision, blind refusal to accept reality. You the majority might have voted for it but you the majority were absolutely played by forces with interests that did not and do not include you!

MrPan · 22/03/2019 22:16

If only leavers could enjoy all the benefit of leaving and remainers enjoy all the benefits of remaining...

ShitAtScarbble · 22/03/2019 22:23

If only there were any real benefits of leaving! Apart from the return of our mythical sovereignty and those magical blue passports that is!

bionicnemonic · 22/03/2019 22:25

Not quite a real majority...

I'm just going to plonk this here and then step down from my soapbox. It's very tiring up here. Grin

Looks like petition will hit 4m today

I think anyone saying 'no, leave means leave' is scared of what the result would be now, if we voted again.
