Need advice please everyone.
My nearly 12 year old has been asking recently about his dad, who has never been there for us. Told him I was pregnant and he made his feelings clear last saw my son when he was 2.
Son wants to get in touch with dad and I would never deny anyone a relationship with their kids but I really don’t know what to do. Do I get in touch with him myself and see if he wants a relationship or do I let my son do it himself in a few years?
I’m aware his dad has a new baby and a step daughter, I would love my son to get to know his family but is he old enough to handle the rejection again if that’s the way it goes?
