Sitting in a pub by yourself

I'm currently sat in a pub around the corner from my DS' school, with a coke, on my own. I'm getting odd looks...have I broke some unwritten pub rule??

All last year I went to a pub for an hour on Monday evenings while my daughter was at her tutor. Always had a g&t followed by a cappuccino and read my book. It was one of my favourite slots of the week!

It's so good to see women on there own in pubs...I think it was a local place for local people!

I've done it plenty of times. If I'm killing time waiting for someone or even if I'm in a new place with work I'll get a pub lunch n soft drink. You are overthinkg it
