Does anyone own this Hauck door bouncer? I can't get it to bounce?

It's stiff. It doesn't actually bounce. There's no 'spring' to it whatsoever.

Has anyone owned this? Am I being thick?

No experience of this one but have you set it up properly? You need to adjust it so that when your baby is in it their toes touch the ground, then when they kick at the floor they bounce up a bit. And down again obviously

I haven't put the baby in it yet. I've just set it up and tried to bounce it and it's stiff. There absolutely zero 'spring' to it.

I've owned two Hauck door bouncers before for the other kids and they are lovely, springy and bouncy.
This has no bounce whatsoever.
It's really bizarre?!
