I know there are a fair few fans on here of his! I want to buy his books for my 13yr old son, any suggestions on the first one to buy him?

Really miss getting the car new Discworld book for Christmas.

I'd buy a copy for my brother & he'd buy a copy for me 😁

Happy days!

No idea where the random car came from Blush

Like so many others I am utterly jealous of the fact he has the entire PTerry bibliography to discover. What bliss.

I am so jealous, he has them all in front of him to discover.

Wyrd Sisters was my first, my parents bought it on the last day of my Year 6 SATs as a treat.

Another vote for the Hogfather
here. Also loved Lords and Ladies.
Didn't really like the Colour of Magic so much.

For me it would be Wyrd Sisters!
Though The Hogfather is a great one as well and he'd of course recognise the parody quite easily, which makes it funnier.
I loved Maskerade (first one I ever read), but then again I knew the Phantom of the Opera which meant I picked up on lots of little references.
And as people said, I am jealous too that he's got all that discovery of Discworld ahead of him.

Oh how I miss TP, a man who understood completely what it is to be human. And I missed the Salisbury exhibition. Wish they'd repeat it. Guards, guards is good for a 13 year old boy to start with.
