Really dumb maths question

What is 88 15 percent of?

Sorry if that is worded really badly!

To work out to 88/15 = 5.86667 then x 100 giving 586.667 round as required.

Take the 88 divide it by 15 and multiply by 100.

Or 88 divided by .15

I did it as 15/100 x X =88
15X = 88x100
X = 8800/15
X = 586.67

Child maintenance options have just written to tell me I will be getting the grand total of 44 a month from ex! He has one other child he pays maintenance for so he'll be paying 88 a month in total which is 15% of his gross income for the month

Loling at how he's managed to convince them he earns 586 a month Hmm

Divide by 15 to find out 1%. Then Multiply by 100 to find 100%.
