My baby is 13 weeks and has had a hoarse voice on and off since he was born.
It's never been caused through crying. For example he's had excessive crying in the past (colic and reflux) that's never resulted in a hoarse voice.
But he will often wake up in the morning with practically no voice left after zero crying.
I've mentioned it to the doctor and he's on ranitidine.
He seems so much happier these days but he wakes every hour and wakes up hoarse.
Does it sound as though reflux is still giving him grief at night?
Does anyone have any experience please?
Proving the bed doesn't work, omeprazole made things a billion times worse. Gaviscon caused my other kids horrific constipation and I've cut out dairy, egg and soya from my diet.
