Our living room is north facing and dark so looking for a colour that be suitable. After reading many threads that suggested just walnut I got excited and tried a sample but it looks awful, cold and a bit lilacy
Timeless is too stark also
I've attached a colour which I love (elephants breath) but will this work I wonder? I love the colour as it stands on the picture but I've seen it in real life and it's more grey. The house is question was south facing so can't compare to mineI'm stumped on what to try next? If elephants breath turns out to be awful too that is!
So what other colours could I try that are very similar to the picture, I think it's a light warm fawn although I may be wrong 🙈

Go for something warm and dark. Have a look at Abigail Ahern's style. The book is good but there's loads on pinterest too.

That looks similar to Dulux Egyptian Cotton. Or Natural Hessian might work too. They're both a bit richer than Timeless.

We've got bog-standard Dulux Egyptian Cotton in a north-facing sitting room. I think it's a warmer tone than elephant's breath.

We have elephants breath in our rather dark dining room- it works well and is much lighter on walls than on my screen- yes more grey. I think it’s lovely!

Adding Eygptian Cotton to the list. It looks really similar to elephants breath so thank you for that!

We've got crispy crumble dulux in ours. I think its warm without being dark

We have Egyptian cotton throughout the house. In some rooms it had an ever so slight palest of moss green hint, in others more very pale grey, but none have the purple hint (except for one bad tin i once got!)
