I’m so fed up with it. Somehow my Dd seems to attract girls that absolutely take the mick. We moved in year 3 but before this she had a best friend who would speak absolutely awful to her. Dictating who she could be friends with etc. Dd would cry most evenings!
She’s now in year 6 and has been friends with a girl behind our house since we moved 3 years ago.
The girl talks down to her like she’s a baby constantly. The girl is in year 5. She will make comments to Dd about us, like nasty comments because I won’t give Dd £20 each weekend to go into town with her etc.
This friend is an only child and is spoilt, so I feel like she looks down her nose at us.
Iv just looked at dds phone because she was upset. She had texted her friend something she was excited about and the friend just made her feel like absolute rubbish and called Dd a liar etc.
I’m actually sick of it!
I don’t know what to do, or to help Dd have more confidence to stand up for herself.
They walk to school every day and back again, I’m thinking of putting a stop to it.
