I am giving blood for the 2nd time today. Last time I was sitting in the chair waiting for them to start and a member of staff came over and said something "oh ho, back you go!" And tipped the chair back so it was reclining.
I saw after that everyone in the donation room was reclining too and I guess it is in case you feel faint?
Only, I have history which means that being on my back in front of a room of people esp in a medical setting is v difficult. I didn't have a panic attack but I had quite a nasty moment when he did that.
Can I ask them to leave the chair upright?
