How long is a chemo cycle?

I want to message my relative and ask how he’s getting on, would be nice to get it right with hope it’s going ok/hope it went ok’.
He started a few weeks ago, so will he probably be done now or still having it? Or does it really vary?
Thank you.

It varies. Could be weeks, I know someone who had chemo every few weeks for a year.

There are different kinds of chemo. My last set was four cycles of three weeks (IV followed by two week and of tablets then a week’s break) which lasted approx three months.
This time I’m doing up to six months of three week cycles (no IV) but was offered a set of two week cycles for three months which I declined.

Interesting. Thanks.
Hm. Maybe I should say ‘has gone ok’. Or actually should I acknowledge how rubbish he’ll feel a bit more?
