I secretly joined weight watchers tonight

I need to lose some weight as I’m getting lazy and complacent. I’m not huge but I’m definitely over weight and I need to sort it. I did SW before but just cannot bring myself to do it again! Plus this is cheaper and seems more varied. I hated being made to feel like I was in therapy and that Muller lights were an accompaniment to everything!

So I’ve done this. I’ve not told anyone and don’t plan on doing so. I need to knock two stone off and I’ll be happier. My son is two and a half and I can’t keep blaming him (though the c section canyon of doom is definitely his fault for not wanting to come out the other way 😂).

So here it is - I want to get my weight under control and at least this way I have a plan and recipes and will be accountable in more ways! Plus the popcorn - dear god the popcorn. I eat so much it’s embarrassing and this should make me stop!!

Just needed to share somewhere - success stories would be great!

Well done on being proactive! By popcorn do you mean Butterkist? Only asking because I normally hear popcorn being talked about as a healthy snack.

Well done for starting and good luck at WW.

I lost nothing at SW but lost 3 stones at WW in 2012. I’ve put over a stone on since then and I am now trying to shift it on my own. Eggs are your friend at WW and their toffee bars are lovely.

WW food is their Muller Light equivalent. Good luck. Smile

It’s Tesco own sweet and salty - the big bags. I can plough through one a day which is not healthy in the slightest!! Popcorn may be a better snack but not in the quantities I was eating.

Of course day one and I’m starving! I’m also a little shocked at how many points are taken up with anything that’s not fruit and veg and such! But I’ll get used to it and just know I have to regulate treats. Two hot meals a day - am always buying lunch in the canteen - not helping either.

I drink very little so that’s not a problem but I know popcorn and sweets are a vice of mine...
