So I am making a considered purchase from a shop - 3K and I will have to pay in instalments. It will involve some more email and phone contact, and one more trip to the shop.
After a horrible divorce and still trying to work my way through the the trauma, this is the first time I have thought - if this person asked me out on a date, I would say yes. The salesman in the shop I mean.
Cloud cuckoo land I know.
But that got me to wondering two things:
If you have mentioned your kids (in connection with what you are thinking of buying), how do you drop the fact that you are not married / in a partnership into the conversation?
And
What are your bravest examples of asking someone out - or the weirdest situations in which you have done it?
Just distracting myself really as this person may be married / committed to someone / gay or just not like me much.
Still, makes a change from feeling dead.
I didn’t mega fancy him at all, but there was something nice / kind about him.
