I was at a course today about using social media, and we were advised to look at various sites - MN being mentioned.

The speaker dude said, in a somewhat "you won't believe this but" tone, "The comments on Mumsnet thread are actually interesting and well thought out!"

So get you all! I knew it of course

Haha Mumsnet has been mentioned on one of my OU modules too (although neither penis beaker or screaming in the Sistine chapel got a mention sadly)

I love the Sistene chapel thread. I might go look it up in classics I need cheering up.

Tis true MN posters can often give give sage advice and I'm glad it's getting public recognition.
