Leaving young children in car alone.

I keep noticing a school mum leaving her young children in the car whilst she takes her older children into school.

The eldest in the car looks about 2 and the other is a baby who can't be older than a few months as she was still pregnant the end of December.

Is this normal? I wouldn't leave my dc but that's my choice. My friend says it's none of my business ( I suppose she's right) but I just think it's so risky.

The car is parked quite a distance away from the school around a corner.

Normal in our school. I don't leave my DS (2) as I'm never especially in a hurry and he likes to see his big sister at her classroom door but I understand why people do it.

I wouldn't at that age, would If 7yr and older. I would be a complete stress-head running into school and back. I would at a petrol station, but you can see your car and it's quick to pay.

Happened again today and the 2 year old was really upset when she left them.

You could let the school know, doubt they can do anything - maybe put a note in newsletter advising parents not to leave toddlers or babies in car?

Ultimately it's not your business, but I would find that hard to walk away from too.
