Breastfeeding thrush -help please!

Breastfeeding my six week old exclusively.
Got a large crack in nipple which was extremely sore. Only one side affected.
Gp diagnosed thrush gave me fluconasole tablet, nystatin and steroid cream for my skin and nystatin drops for ds mouth.
Have been on treatment for five days. Things have improved little do treatment seems to be working.

The last two days I have only expressed on the affected side and not fed from it to try and allow the crack to heal and because it is so sore.
However it’s hard work expressing sterilising etc and then bottle feeding.
Also could this make my supply dry up because I’m not feeding him directly from the breast but expressing?

I’m not sure what to do for the best, whether to chance latching him back on or to give it a few more days expressing from one side?

Any advice appreciated, as I don’t want to quit breastfeeding yet, but this is proving a real challenge.

Thanks.
