You can either put down whatever you/he identifies as, or put nothing.

CraftyGin · 18/03/2019 13:46

Is it a tick box? What are the choices?

MrsPear · 18/03/2019 13:47

We always white other - it is ethnic origins not nationality.

My children are white other for ethnicity - English and Albanian but white British for nationality.

British asian is sone one of british and asian decent

Wenttoseainasieve · 18/03/2019 13:50

Mine are the same ethnicity in the same proportions as your DC, I put white and Asian mixed.

Wenttoseainasieve · 18/03/2019 13:52

And for medical forms don't put nothing/what they identify as, specify what their ethnicity is. Different ethnic groups have greater prevalence of certain conditions etc.

Overseasmom100 · 18/03/2019 14:12

No tick box just a line with the heading Ethnicity for you to enter.
I remember doing this at Infants and it was flagged up due to my origin and he had the BCG jab. So I may British with some asian decent

I’m white european, and DH is Thai.
So our kids go down as “mixed white and Asian”.
They also had to have BCG when they were tiny babies even though DH hasn’t been to his home country in 13 years Confused
