What am I doing wrong?!

I'm currently cradling my 6mnth old for his lunchtime nap. I did the same for his morning nap. When I lay him down for a nap he tries to roll over, then gets stuck, then gets upset.

His night time sleep is awful. Weve just removed the sleepyhead and he is awake so frequently. Even co sleeping he wakes up but not co sleeping he was awake every 30 mins last night.

I dont have any time away from him at all. I'm sat here in a darkened room MNing. I tried to lay down so I could nap with him but he woke up.

When does this get better? I feel so useless..

Mine was a bad day time sleeper and frequent waker. They grow out of it. You're not doing anything wrong. Unfortunately, neither of those sentiments (however true) are in any way helpful (in a practical sense) right now.

Thank you Smile

I just feel so alone. Everyone else with bad sleepers seem to suddenly get better
And we are still in this position.
I didn't.notive he had a dirty nappy before his nap this morning so I have guilt piled on to exhaustion.

It comes and goes (and comes back, annoyingly). Whatever the underlying causes, there was never any magic bullet for us. Everyone had a 'solution'. Worked for them (maybe, not sure I always believed that or that it worked for any length of time); didn't work for us. DS is now 7 and still get the occasional patch (lasts a week maybe).
The good news is that it WILL end, and a little while afterwards you'll struggle to even remember the details.
